Schedule your first class with us as a one on one orientation and then try any of our scheduled classes the rest of the week for free.
After your free trial week we can help qualify you for one of our training packages.

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 140px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_A2xFBjidIgw/SSnt5Dsi7eI/AAAAAAAAD50/djDMZqU4QtQ/s320/trainer+photo+3.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5272006403314347490" />
FOUNDATIONS CLASS
We recommend that everyone complete the Foundations class before training seriously at Flatirons CrossFit. This class will teach you the basic movements of the CrossFit program. The Foundations Class is three one hour sessions of no more than 3 people in a class. This is to ensure that everyone gets enough personal attention when learning the movements. Some of the exercises or functional movements covered are: body weight exercises like push ups, pull ups, air-squats, jump rope and sit-ups; barbell and dumbbell movements, dead-lifts, overhead squats, presses, and Kettlebell exercises. We will also evaluate your athletic and physical fitness level and then scale each exercise and workout to your abilities. Everyone can benefit from this class.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 140px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_A2xFBjidIgw/SSnuH0qPijI/AAAAAAAAD58/LvKkeC8umL8/s320/group.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5272006656976194098" />
WOD Class (workout of the day)
This class is the staple of the CrossFit progam. In this class you will train with the group. The focus of this class is virtuosity and intensity. By virtuosity we mean perfect technique and full range of motion in the movements. Intensity means doing them at speed. This class includes instruction by reviewing the exercises and improving technique. This is essential to building intensity. The WOD is a blend of kettlebells, gymnastics, weightlifting, and sprinting. These components are put together in a seemingly endless variety of programing. These workouts are timed and they are meant to be attacked.

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 140px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_A2xFBjidIgw/SSnuuMD55uI/AAAAAAAAD6E/H1s7_iJZjwE/s320/kbtsc.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5272007316092872418" />
KETTLEBELLS
This class focuses on kettlebell work almost exclusively. This class is designed to elicit a broader base of skills with the kettlebell and train for kettlebell sport challenges such as the USSS Snatch test and Tactical Strength Challenges.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 140px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_A2xFBjidIgw/SSnvClzuaQI/AAAAAAAAD6M/r051dvrRbDw/s320/weightlifting.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5272007666601715970" />
Weightlifting
Our weightlifting classes focus on two styles of lifting, Olympic Lifting and Powerlifting. Both of these types of lifts are important for developing absolute strength, speed, and explosive power. Training these lifts will greatly enhance your performance in sport and the WOD’s. We focus on training technique until athletes are proficient enough with the lifts and then we start going heavy and training with increasing weight. The lifts covered in this program are: the snatch, clean and jerk, deadlift , various squats, and presses. Whether you want to compete in Olympic or powerlifting or just get stronger and perform better then this class is a must.

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 131px; height: 200px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_A2xFBjidIgw/SYiCjlBV7_I/AAAAAAAAEIM/QgKAMwXBgmU/s200/Walker+mnt+bike.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298628509346164722" />
ENDURANCE TRAINING
Our endurance program is designed to help athletes better their sport by enhancing their athletic ability. Sport specific athletes are already proficient at their chosen activity. Our endurance training program is designed to compliment and fill in the “holes” that often accompany sport specific training. This program will use exercises and movements that make endurance athletes more resistant to injury and improve aerobic capacity. Anaerobic work has proven to be far more effective at enhancing aerobic capacity then simple aerobic training. Our program, with functional movements, will help increase flexibility, build explosive strength and power, a strong back and core as well as condition joints for the demands of endurance sport.

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 140px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_A2xFBjidIgw/SSnvd2Bd4RI/AAAAAAAAD6U/K6NaLHJPi30/s320/peyton.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5272008134810788114" />
STARTING SEPTEMBER 9TH: KIDS CLASSES (Ages 6-12)
We understand that kids don't care about how much they can squat or lift over their heads. They also don't care about what their "Fran" time is or how to improve their scores for CrossFit workouts. They just want to have fun, and that is what exercise is - FUN. Our goal with this class is to get kids fit while having fun. They will learn that exercise is fun and that it will make them feel better and help them learn to accomplish goals.
